Public Involvement

Public involvement and community outreach allows direct interaction with stakeholders. The success of a project or initiative often depends on stakeholder acceptance.

Our public involvement approach considers regional, social, and cultural differences throughout Alaska. Each public involvement strategy is designed to ensure it meets the desired outcome of the client and the community.

The purpose of tribal consultation is to offer government to government consultation to federally recognized Tribes, and to seek early and meaningful input into federal planning and decision making processes. Tribal consultation is rooted in the special relationship between the Federal government and Tribes established in the United States Constitution, and recognizes and supports tribal sovereignty.
