Elizabeth Shea holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Innovation from Texas Tech University, Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Russian Studies from Vassar College, and a Graduate Certificate in Human Services from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. She is a  Bill Gates Cambridge Scholar and worked in the Russian Far East during her time studying at the Scott Polar Research Institute at Cambridge University.

Liz is an expert at communications and helping clients develop and implement high-profile initiatives. She is a talented writer and editor with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex systems. Liz is experienced in state and federal policy/regulations, government contracting, large project/program administration, grant writing, public relations, and visual communications. She has substantial experience working with diverse populations and cultural contexts, including rural Alaska and the Arctic, within non-profit and government sectors. This unique understanding is illustrated through her strategic communications plans and an impressive list of publications developed during her tenure with DDA.
