Magen Spencer is from Nenana, Alaska. She is currently Denali Daniels & Associates practicum student from the University of Alaska Fairbanks for the 22-23 school year. Magen has her certificate in Rural Human Services, Associate of Applied Science in Human Services, and is completing her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. 

After graduating Magen will continue her education to get her master’s degree in social work. Magen’s background is in substance use disorder counseling and nonprofit management.

Magen has been working with the Citizen Review Panel, the Alaska Mental Health Board/Advisory Board on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and is hoping to start working with the legislative sessions starting in January.
