Tricia Minnick holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Social Work with a concentration of Administrative Leadership. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks where she was the 2022 Marion Frances Boswell Memorial Award recipient, selected for her scholarship, character, and contributions to UAF and Alaska. Her educational background includes a strong emphasis on rural and Alaska Native populations and a focus on program development and policy work.
Tricia brings a strengths-based approach and systems-focused lens to the DDA team. Her love of problem-solving and passion for social justice is seen throughout her work. A natural communicator, she excels at connecting with clients and offering them consistent, high-quality support. Tricia uses social work values to guide her professionally and is committed to improving the lives of the people of Alaska through her work at DDA.
